Portland In Color BIPOC Neighborhood Guides

Portland in Color and Travel Portland are teaming up to publish a series of neighborhood guides by BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color) writers and photographers to debut on travelportland.com in Fall 2019. They are seeking refreshing perspectives that shift travel writing away from the white gaze and re-center the stories of people who make Portland what it is today.

Deadline for pitches are June 17th. Writer and photographers will be paid $500 each.
