Postcards from Japan ~ Orientation Prayers

Dearest Friends,

I wanted to give you a quick update on my progress with my mission to Japan. This Sunday, June 9th, I take the first steps towards going to Japan. I will attend a week long missionary orientation with TEAM in North Carolina. At orientation I will learn more about TEAM and what I will need to complete in order to go to Japan (this includes financial support needed, training courses I must take, and more). I ask that you would please pray for the week ahead; the schedule looks very full!

Prayer Requests

~ Please pray for safe travels to Asheville, North Carolina and back.

~ Please pray that I will have an open mind and attitude towards everything I am going to learn next week. I have been on previous missions, but I want to be open to new ideas and ways of doing things.
~ Please pray for energy and a good attitude. The schedule goes all day and all week and I am sure to be overwhelmed. I want to be able to be present and enjoy the week.
~ Please pray for fun and new friends!!
