Violent Armed Robbery - Wishart

Police have charged a man after he allegedly threatened to burn a service station attendant last night.

It will be alleged at 7pm a man attended the Newnham Road business and selected a can of degreaser from the shelf.

He then threatened to set it alight and burn the staff member before leaving the store.

Police located the man a short time later nearby.

A 34-year-old Bridgeman Downs man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday June 3.
