Nick Vujicic is speaking today today to 40,000 people at the Wroclaw City Stadium
Nick was born in Australia without arms or legs, and he has a powerful testimony to share of God's work in his life. Nick is a well-known speaker for business and corporate seminars, yet his real heart is in evangelism.
Nick has been to Poland several times as an inspirational speaker for corporate audiences. This time he has been invited by the Evangelical Community, as represented by the Covenant of Pastors, who meet regularly for prayer, mutual support, and to coordinate outreach and ministry to our local community. Every year in June we organize the Festival of Renewal, featuring a variety of activities and meetings for people of all age groups and interests.
Last year the keynote speaker at an outdoor rally held in the island park near the Evangelical Theological Seminary was Josh McDowell. This year Nick will speak at the main outreach event, held at the Wroclaw Stadium, home to the local soccer team and used for large concerts and other gatherings.
Including space on the playing field, 40,000 people will be present for this event, which includes a worship concert, testimonies and of course Nick Vujicic's message. Free tickets were distributed to all the evangelical churches in Wroclaw, as well as to renewal groups in the Catholic Church, so we can invite friends and neighbors. The total attendance at this event will be more than ten times the number of Protestant believers in our city.
