Wow!! What a Fantastic year of Tantasqua Music!!

Upcoming TMA Music Events 2019:
June 3: Monday.  High School Music Banquet at Publick House, 6pm
June 4: Tuesday.  TMA Annual General Meeting/Elections @Junior High Cafeteria, 6:30pm
June 10: Monday.  Junior High Choral Concert @TRHS, 7pm
June 12: Wednesday.  Junior High Band Concert @TRHS, 7pm

TMA Accomplishments 2018-19:
Thank you, everyone, including parents, members, staff, alumni, and community business sponsors!
Your time, energy, and financial support enabled the TMA to have a very successful year!

In 2018-19, the TMA was able to :
*Sponsor Field Staff for Marching Band Camp.
*Contribute over $7000 to the TMA Private Lesson Program, which sponsored JH and HS students with lessons in voice, clarinet, bassoon, euphonium, flute, percussion, and saxophone!
*Provide a Pizza Party for ShowChoir, PitBand, and Crew at the ShowChoir Showcase!
*Provide funds for a Color Guard Assistant and two Winter Guard Instructors!
*Host a fun Ice Cream Social for students in both the Regional Band and Regional Chorus events!
*Purchase additional Stage Lighting Equipment for Sets for the ShowChoir groups!
*Support the Tantasqua HS Drumline!
*Provide a special Cast & Crew Dinner for The Seussical Musical!
*Award three Scholarships to 2019 music Seniors at Class Night, for a combined total of $2000 !
*Provide Percussion Technique Clinics, to prepare for Memorial Day Parade!
*and More!

TMA Fundraisers:
TMA Vacation Package Raffle:  There is still time to buy your tickets!!
The TMA is currently selling Vacation Raffle Tickets!  The lucky winner will be drawn on June 12, at the JH Band Concert.  The winner will get to choose 1 week's lodging at either a Michigan Cabin OR a Myrtle Beach Condo- WOW!  The lodging is provided by our generous sponsor, The Law Office of Brian Tessier.  In addition, the winner will receive $200 worth of Visa Gift Cards, sponsored by the TMA, to be used for Travel Expenses or Vacation Fun!!
Tickets are $10 each, or 8 tickets for $75.  Tickets can be purchased at the JH Choral Concert, and before the start of the JH Band Concert.  You can also contact the board to purchase tickets!

Mattress Fundraiser:  Thank you to everyone that supported the TMA and purchased a mattress/accessories.
Archery:  Great Job at the Annual Archery Fundraiser!  Thanks to all of our volunteers- parents, students, and alumni, that return every year to help the TMA run this exciting event.
Coffee:  Thank you to our JH and HS Students, and a *special Thank You to Mary O'Coin for organizing* a successful Coffee Fundraiser this year.  We sold 218 bags of coffee!  Let's give an extra Shout-Out to our top 3 SalesStudents:  Mariana G (21 bags of coffee), Samantha N (19 bags), and Emma O (10 bags);  TMA awarded these students Gift Cards for their fantastic efforts.

The Tantasqua Music Association:
Who is the TMA?
Since the 1980s, the TMA has supported the Tantasqua Junior and Senior High School music programs, including Concert Band and Chorus, Show Choir, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Color Guard, Pit Band, Drama Club, and more!  The TMA is a member-based organization that has funded instruments, scholarships, training, and special programs to benefit our talented student musicians.
