Is it summer yet?
It’s June!  It has to be coming soon!

Well the gardeners aren’t waiting.  They VCA Gardening team lead by Randy Churchill have boxes of Geraniums planted in the small park on Garrison Village Drive.  Stop by to see their handy work.

In addition to maintaining these gardens the Gardening Team will be looking after the two mailbox areas this summer.  Thanks neighbours!

John KossupThe Social Committee has also arranged musical entertainment!  John Kossup, singer, songwriter and musician will be joining us for the evening.  John, a retired District Fire Chief for the City of Hamilton, has played in many groups, duos and solo as a hobby.  He has been a musician since he was seven years old and is the brother of Cindy and John Durdan, VCA members.

There is no cost for this event… just come out and have fun with your neighbours.

Village Community Association Garage Sale
held May 25

garage saleIt started off rainy – but had a big finish!  There were lots or cars cruising around The Village looking for bargains.
Members of the VCA Social Committee provided maps to visitors with all the sale locations marked and arranged lots of advertising on-line and in the local papers.  That worked so well, we had visitors from as far away as Grimsby!

Thanks to everyone who made the Garage Sale a success.
