This week, Virginia’s General Assembly passed a budget including Medicaid expansion. When Democratic Governor Ralph Northam signs it into law, Virginia will become the 34th state to accept Medicaid expansion. As a result, over 300,000 Virginians will now have health coverage under the policy. This is possible because of your work last summer and fall, knocking on doors and making phone calls to flip seats in Virginia. The candidates you worked to elect are now the delegates casting deciding votes on Medicaid expansion. We've got a chance this fall to flip even more seats and ensure smart decent policy for the rest of the country. Let's get to work!
