With the political world around us in meltdown, never before has an escape into the solitude of the mountains appealed more. Our busy Alpine season is just starting, and here is some inspiration for your summer getaway.

Mont Blanc ascents

The Gouter Couloir has good snow cover at present, so climbing Mont Blanc is in perfect early season conditions. We offer ascents every week mid June to mid September. Just £1499 inc B&B. Link

Oberland 4000m peaks

Spend a full week climbing classic routes in the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland, on a 1:2 guide ratio, with 4 nights in huts. The week costs £1499, and our next trip with space is 30 June - 6 July. Link

Chamonix trail running

Join us for a week of trail running in Chamonix, on the week that has the Mont Blanc Marathon events, on 23-29 June. The week is just £699 and includes guiding and B&B. You are led by a UTMB finisher. Link

Toubkal long weekend

NEW for summer 2019, we offer ascents of Mount Toubkal in the Moroccan Atlas in summer, as a long weekend from Thursday to Monday, with 3 days guiding. Just £499 with 4* hotel in Marrakesh. Link

Eiger full traverse

Ascend the iconic Mittellegi Arete, and descend the long South Ridge to Monchsjoch. Climbing this route makes a full traverse of the legendary Eiger, and is a good alternative to the Matterhorn. Link
