Tips for Preparation:
Personal Statement: Please review your personal statement in your application and be familiar with it, as it will be referred to during your interview.
Interview panels will be looking for elements including but not limited to:
- The details you have provided on your application form about yourself – your education, prior work experience, extra-curricular interests and so on.
- Your preparation and presentation – this may encompass your preparation and awareness of the programme and the profession as well as your preparation for the interview itself.
- Familiarity with recent developments in education in Ireland.
- Your ability to plan and organise your work and your ability to evaluate and reflect on your work.
- Your communication skills, leadership qualities, motivation and creativity.
Please ensure to be timely, allowing plenty of time for travel and traffic issues. Do remember to dress formally as you would for any professional interview.
