2019 National Solar Tour

Good Energy Solutions is proud to be partnering with Solar United Neighbors and the American Solar Energy Society on the 2019 National Solar Tour! On October 5 & 6, 2019, hundreds of solar owners across the country will host solar open houses to share the power of solar energy with their communities.

Any solar home, business, non-profit organization, religious institution, municipal building, or community solar garden is invited to participate!

If you are a solar owner, we invite you to share your experience going solar by hosting a solar open house on the National Solar Tour! Solar owners can sign up to host a solar open house on the National Solar Tour by July 31, 2019. A solar open house can take place completely outside of the home or business or the host may welcome visitors inside. Owners may participate for the entire weekend or only commit to a few hours on one of the days.

Take Advantage of the 30% Solar Federal Tax Credit before it ends in 2019!

The renewable energy tax credit allows solar system owners to offset federal tax payments equal to 30% of the cost basis of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system. Beginning in 2020, that percentage steps down to 26%—with percentages falling even further for projects started in 2021 (22%) and all the way down to 10% for projects beginning in 2022 and beyond.
