INSIDE OUR FIRST
LAUNCHPAD TO WHAT’S NEXT
LIVE EVENT

Growing Bolder recently hosted our first ever Launchpad to What’s Next LIVE! event at the beautiful Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center in The Villages, Florida. The event was taped for an upcoming special that will air later this year on public television stations nationwide.

We can’t show you any of the footage yet, but we can let you hear from some of the attendees to find out why this is something you’re going to want to tune in to when it premieres.

Couldn't make it in person to our first tour stop? We have even more photos, behind-the-scenes stories and more, on our Facebook page (facebook.com/growingbolder).
Plus, you can join us at an upcoming tour stop. On June 18, we'll be at the National Senior Games in New Mexico, with a star-studded list of speakers and inspirational presenters. Tickets are very limited, so please be sure to register for yourself and a friend soon. And stay tuned for more details about our upcoming Launchpad to What’s Next PBS/American Public Television pledge program, airing nationally in December of 2019!

A special thank you to our partners and sponsors at American Public Television, AdventHealth and Florida Blue for making this event possible.

This week, we honor the service and sacrifice of those who took part in the Normandy landings on Tuesday, June 6, 1944 -- aka D-Day -- during the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II.

Before his death in 2012, World War II vet Bill Coleman met with Growing Bolder and shared the wisdom of the greatest generation, explaining what it was like to be a part of the D-Day invasion, and what it felt like to look death in the face when he was captured by Nazi soldiers.
