Bloor / Borden Farmers' Market Opening June 5
Summer can start now that Bloor Borden Market is back on Wednesdays with its great mix of returning and new vendors. You can follow them on Facebook - keep an eye out for weekly deals!

New this year - Going Green Toronto!
Going Green Toronto is a grassroots community organization working to foster accessible environmental stewardship for populations across Toronto. Going Green Toronto empowers communities in the co-creation of the sustainable neighbourhoods they wish to see, by working to remove systemic barriers to participation and enabling inclusive environmentalism.

Volunteers are needed to help staff the volunteer table from 3-5pm and 5-7pm every Wednesday. If you, or anyone you know, can help with light work for 2 hours, please send an email to bloorbordenmarket@gmail.com with the subject "Volunteer". This year with provincial funding cutbacks, the market will need the community's help more than ever!

Wednesdays from 3-7 pm, June to October

Good Neighbours Building a Great Neighbourhood!

Harbord Village is filled with neighbours who make a difference.  At its Spring Meeting, the HVRA presented four of our community members with a “Community Building Award”:
  •     Jennette Boehmer for championing our greening goals
  •     Ann Eyerman for volunteering her time on many local projects
  •     Daniel Suss for helping improve our public spaces
  •     Tino Torreira for servicing our vehicles over the last 34 years
Congratulations to our winners!

Help support the work of the HVRA by renewing your membership online at harbordvillage.com/membership/ .  Be sure to spread the word and encourage your neighbours to join too!
