The Celtic Wheel of the Year is celebrated with 8 Holydays.  

These Holydays honor Mother Earth and the Great Father Sun.

Mother Earth is celebrated as she shifts into different seasons and rhythms. She is revered for each stage of life she brings forth to all of her inhabitants of the Web of Life.  Through her rhythms, we receive a deeper understanding of ourselves and what currents are alive in us during different seasons. 

The High Holydays are part of the Solar Mysteries and the Sun’s position is what ushers in each celebrated day. When we celebrate these holy days and the journey of the Sun, we move into very mystical realms.

We are journeyed through the Sun as told through the story of the Son… Birth, Emergence, Resurrection, Fertility, Ascension, Abundance, Harmony and Death.

These 8 Holy Days hold a lot of remembrance for all of us.  With each High Holyday, there are specific teachings, medicines, Archetypes, elementals and understandings of Gaia, the Cosmos, and all creatures. They begin to animate through us and bring us into deep Remembrances.  And then the Wheel turns again.  Gaia continues her journey as do we.

The High Holy Days and seasons are tracked through specific astrology and change dates every year. These essences were collected on specific days of the turning of the Wheel of the Year.  They were collected in both the Moonlight and Sunlight.  The cross-quarter days (Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnausa, and Samhain) are made as a combination of both the solar and lunar days of that specific Holy Day, astrologically.
