Berkey Announcements

 Summer Sunday School

Sunday SchoolSummer Sunday School begins this Sunday, June 9. You will have the choice of  an input/discussion option in the sanctuary and an active option elsewhere. You will find the full schedule for the summer here. It is also posted on the bulletin board by the mailboxes.

June 9 Class Options:
  • Input/Discussion: "The Food We Were Born to Eat," led by Ben Buckwalter.
  • Activity: James & Trish Yoder will lead a Frisbee golf scramble that will incorporate some word puzzles on each hole. A scramble consists of two or more players forming a team,  emphasizing fun without the pressure of players keeping individual scores. Each player hits a tee shot on each hole, but everyone plays from the spot of the best shot. Please bring a Frisbee for yourself and any extras to share with others.

Getting to Know

Elisabeth

Elisabeth Barahona

I am curious, an avid life learner, creative, passionate, and an old soul. I'm energized by the healing, sacred work that I do as a therapist at Maple City Health Care Center and adore my active 3 children. In the last several years I have craved contemplative spirituality of silence and stillness. My husband and I try to promote retreating practices in order to live into our best selves. Things that I love to do are culinary exploration, beach days, and dancing.
