My angioplasty went well with no complications though painful at times.
The doctor used two Drug-Eluting Balloons† which caused the worst pain. Each one was inflated for 2 minutes so part of my heart was without blood for that amount of time. I'm guessing the beginning of a heart attack might feel about the same. Lamaze breathing does help. :-)
Thursday was my last day of school at Morrison. I had a party in each class and challenged my students to develop their character and focus on making every place they go and every person they meet better because they were there. Graduation is on Friday, May 31.

Pray that:
- all the details related to shipping and leaving Taiwan will be completed in a timely manner including preparing to ship our things, transferring the title on the car, closing accounts and utilities, etc.
- we will have time to say goodbye to the many people we have grown to love here.
- the transition back to the US goes well and we find how and where God intends for us to serve.

Yearbook signing verses for this year:
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Colossians 1:9-14 (ESV)
† Drug-eluting Balloons. Drug-eluting balloons (DEB) are conventional semi-compliant angioplasty balloons covered with an anti-proliferative drug which is released into the vessel wall during inflation of the balloon, usually at nominal pressures with a specific minimal inflation time.
