"A lot of parents pack up their troubles and send them off to a summer camp."
~ Raymond Duncan
Three Cheers for Summertime!
As the school year draws to a close we send congrats to all graduates (whether from preschool or fifth grade or tech school or graduate school and everything in between) and families who've supported their students this academic year.
What are you doing this summer? We hope that whatever it is, some sort of yarn-related project is part of the plan. Thank you as always for your enthusiastic support. We'll see you soon!
If you're participating in any our Summer KAL's, you've earned yourself one of these! It's the shape of the summer sun, but you could also look at it as your summer badge of honor.
Come in and pick yours up!

CURRENT PROJECT
Lauren is wearing her Tinder by Brooklyn Tweed knit with Cestari's Mt. Vernon*. This sweater is truly a testament to this non-superwash merino yarn - Lauren knit this to a worsted gauge a couple of years ago  - we saw absolutely NO pilling when she was here over the weekend for the State Track meet in Laurel.
*The Merino wool that goes into the Mount Vernon Collection comes from reputable ranches located in the U.S. Mountain states including Montana and Wyoming. Cestari chooses the highest quality Merino available in order to ensure the future of the American sheep & wool industry and to be able to make a top quality merino yarn. The merino is soft and untreated by chemicals. The Mount Vernon Collection is hand dyed using a small batch kettle method.
WORKS IN PROGRESS
Kathy just cast off her Dots Shawl by Casapinka using Fiber Seed sock yarns, but you can use any fun and colorful fingering weights for this summery coverup.
