Communion will be offered.

Memorial Church has historically been an important center of spiritual and ceremonial life at Stanford University since the church was dedicated in 1903. It is open to anyone, wherever you may be on your spiritual journey.

Eid Festival

Come and join us to celebrate this special event with our Muslim community at Stanford. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and the celebration of community and friendship. We will have great food, music, and people from around the world to mark this important religious holiday.

Guided Meditation for Students

Windhover

These weekly drop-in sessions are designed to offer basic meditation skill, to encourage regular meditation practice, to help deepen your ability to self-reflect in meditation and to offer instructions on how meditation can be useful during stressful moments. Bring your Stanford ID card to enter. This is the last guided meditation at Windhover for the academic year.

Commencement Organ Recital - Dr. Robert Huw Morgan
Friday, June 14

Stanford Memorial Church

Internationally acclaimed organist, Robert Morgan, is the University Organist, Lecturer in Organ, and Director of both the Stanford University Singers and the Memorial Church Choir. The native of Wales holds dual doctorates in Organ Performance and Orchestral Conducting from the University of Washington, Seattle. At Stanford, Dr. Morgan presides over two significant organs at Memorial Church: C.B. Fisk’s Opus 85 (73 ranks) and the 1901 Murray M. Harris (57 stops), along with three other smaller instruments in Memorial Church. 

Dr. Robert Huw Morgan will perform a recital of transcriptions of instrumental and orchestral works by Tchaikovsky, Gibbons, Walton, Weber, and others.
