On Saturday July 13th from 10 - 11:30 a.m. we will meet again to look at revised concepts.

Please spread the word and join in!  Now is the time--let's build the library our valley community needs and wants. ALL are welcome, we want to hear your ideas.

Welcome Jill Sheley!

Our new Executive Director Jill Sheley blew us away in her interview.

Jill knows this valley: she's lived here with her family for over ten years. She knows about service: she's been on the board of the Confluence Art Gallery for many years, started the Bear Creek Junior Golf Program, organized the biggest ski race at the Loup, in addition to offering pro bono strategic planning services to a number of community non-profits. She knows how to get things done: for two decades, she's worked as a successful business consultant to many clients, including the City of Seattle and the Seattle Public Library. When we talked to people who have worked with Jill, the enthusiastic response focused on her superb capabilities as well as the lasting relationships she created. She's also a reader: she's in THREE book clubs!

In short: Jill is the woman for the job! We could not possibly be more thrilled.
