After 46 alpha releases, I am excited to announce our first beta release! These are some of the features that made it to the beta:

Allow lists: Configure the GraphQL Engine to restrict the queries it executes to those available on a predefined list.
Optimised server startup time: GraphQL Engine startup time has been reduced by ~7X to ~30X.
Manual Event Triggers: Events can get triggered manually using the console.
Offline mode for console: GraphQL Engine's console now works without access to a public network.

We have launched a series of hands-on, concise GraphQL tutorials aimed at frontend & fullstack developers. These tutorials will help you understand the fundamentals behind GraphQL and get you productive with GraphQL in just a couple of hours:

Frontend Tutorials: A series of 2-hour GraphQL tutorials for React, Vue, React Native, iOS & Android developers.
Introduction to Hasura: A 30 min tutorial that covers setting up a fully functional GraphQL backend using Hasura.
