World champion inspires more FREE ride-outs

It was amazing to have Nick Craig - professional racing cyclist specialising in cross country mountain bike racing, cyclo-cross, and a multiple national champion come along to our Scott Demo session last month.

It was a real boost for the start of our-ride out with a group of experienced cyclists from Kendal and District Cycle Scene. We enjoyed a challenging 23-mile ride, setting off from the shop and climbing to Nine Standards and Tailbrigg.

The ride was such a great event we have joined up with British Cycling and Mike Sutherland from KDCS to run a series of FREE rides-out - perfect for all the family and you can come on a normal or e-bike.

Our next ride-outs are:
 
30 June, Fords and flowers 10 miles
2 August, Railways and viaducts 15 miles,
18 August, Castles and fells 20 miles
30 August, Tarn tour grand finale 25 miles.

E-bikes will be available for hire for guests and the £15 rental fee will be fully refundable on any bike bought from Eden-e-Motion within 31 days of the hire.

Share your favourite new ride and enter our competition

We have a new campaign to find the best cycle routes in the area.
 
Because we specialise in electric bikes, riders can go that little bit further, so the routes can be a little longer and you can discover even more of our amazing countryside.
 
By using the hashtag #eBikeEden everyone will be able to share their adventures, and the best will receive a cycle t-shirt.
 
And anyone who hires an e-bike from us in June will get 50% their hire fee back if they have a new route to share with everyone - and of course entry into our competition. 

To qualify, routes must be accurately described or mapped in a GPS or Strava format.

The best routes will be featured here in our quarterly e-newsletter and will also be available from our website and Facebook page.

Bergamont demonstration day

Here at Eden-e-Motion we will be hosting a Bergamont demonstration day on Saturday, June 15.

Come down to our shop to see the new e-bikes and find out more. We are easy to find from all directions and have ample, easy parking.

In fact, why not bring your old bikes, leave the car and enjoy a ride on some lovely lanes and trails and even a lunch at our local which is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent food.

And if you are looking to upgrade your e-bike, we can also offer trade-in and trade up deals.
