A HUGE thank you for your support during Day of Giving

The Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship received tremendous support yet again during Day of Giving with 59 donors, and $136,045 raised. Among other 13 universities, we manage to place 3rd for the amount of donors. Thank you to all those who supported the entrepreneurial adventure and mindset! We’re floored by the outpour of support.

Highlights:

  • The Saxbys’ Cold Brew Challenge raised $300 dollars - big thanks and shout out to Advisory Board Member Nick Bayer!
  • We beat the Argyle Challenge! We had 12 young alumni support the Close School during Day of Giving. Thank you Logan Levenson, founder of Argyle Interactive, for the extra $1,250 in funds.
  • We beat the Silverman Challenge! We had more than 50 donors and Stan Silverman, Trustee & Close Advisory Board member, provided an additional $2,500 in funds to help continue giving the gift of adventure and entrepreneurship to Drexel students. Thank you Stan for your long time support!

We’d also like to thank David Geltzer, Trustee & Close Advisory Board Member, for his support during Day of Giving. Our goal for next year is to get over 100 donors and beat the Geltzer Challenge!

Paris Gramann’s entrepreneurship co-op is getting attention. She’s using her co-op experience to raise mental health awareness with Just Be Books, a children’s book series aimed to start the mental health conversation early. Read more about Paris’ story on DrexelNOW.
