Ahead of ADEPT’s Annual General Meeting on 27th June 2019, the Association is seeking members’ support for a number of changes.
In Autumn 2018, the Leadership Team commissioned the consultants, Shared Intelligence, to undertake independent research into the impact of ADEPT. The project team spoke to ADEPT members, corporate partners, stakeholders and key influencers to capture their views. More information on the report can be found here.
As a result, the Leadership Team is making a number of recommendations, which need to be agreed upon by the membership. The proposed changes will enable the Association to better prepare for the future needs of members and provide a framework in which to develop strategic priorities for Place, in a rapidly changing world.
Throughout late May and early June, ADEPT is undertaking a consultation exercise to understand the views of the membership on the key changes:
- Reframing the ADEPT business delivery model around 4 key functions
- Restructuring some of the Subject Boards to reflect the changing landscape
- Focusing influencing activities across three new strategic place-shaping priorities
