Greetings SBL Families!

I hope this message finds you and your families well.  As we come to the close of our season, I hope that everyone has had positive experiences and made special memories.  We definitely started off rough with all the rain outs early on.

Last year in November, we had our TBall clinic run by high school volunteers which resulted in bringing in over 60 new players!  It was such a success that we plan to continue this every year. This division is especially critical to the League's growth so please continue to spread the word about us to your family and friends.  SBL is also a great place for new players to get a taste of baseball or softball.

Lastly, the entire Board and I would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the parents in our League for all of your support in keeping the legacy of Sansei alive.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the Closing Ceremony this Sunday.

CLOSING CEREMONY

TENT CITY SETUP
We are allowing you to unload your tents, tables, etc. between 7am and 8am.  You will enter in through the Saxon Hall gate off of Yukon Ave.  Carefully navigate through the construction area and park your vehicle near the field area.  Drop off your gear then proceed to park OUTSIDE of the gates.  There is NO PARKING INSIDE THE GATES.  Check the map for details.

PRE-CEREMONY
Because of construction, please give yourself extra time to park.  Check with your Parent Rep as to where your team will meet before the Ceremony.  Your PR will give you further instructions that morning.

LUNCH AND BUFFET
If your team is participating in the Buffet, your Parent Rep will hand out wristbands to you.  Lunch should be ready around 11:45am but an official announcement will be made out on the field.

IMPORTANT:  THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO GRILLS, FIRE PITS, OR COOKING STOVES ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.

WATER PLAY
Water play will start around 1pm in the designated area (check map).  Please supervise your children during this time.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE ADVISE CHILDREN NOT TO FILL UP AT WATER FOUNTAINS OR BATHROOM SINKS.  ALSO, NO WATER BALLOONS ALLOWED!

VENDORS
Please support our vendors at our event.  They will be located at the basketball courts next to the TBall Field.  SBL is proud to support local businesses and services.

RAFFLE
Raffle tickets will be available for pickup and sale at the event.  Prizes will be available to view near the Vendor area. Check the website for the prize list.

2019 NIKKEI GAMES

The Nikkei Games has a long history in our community dating back to 1928.  There are several events including track, basketball, and baseball.

The baseball tournament is scheduled for the weekend of July 20th and 21st at Ocean View High School, in Huntington Beach.   Teams from Sansei Baseball will be competing against teams from Orange County.  We are looking to form at least 2 teams of 10 to 12 year olds.  If interested, please let your coach or Parent Rep know to contact us!
