Our Big Sky Watershed Corps member has been working hard to plan a new pollinator garden at the Ennis Elementary School garden. However, before we can can get busy putting plants in the ground, we could use a little bit of help getting the site prepared to ensure the successful establishment of the plants. If you want to spend a few hours outside getting your hands dirty, consider volunteering for this important cause to support education in our local school. Mark your calendars for the Montana Watershed Coordination Council's Watershed Tour, co-hosted with the Missouri Headwaters Partnership. Our watershed will be among those highlighted on the tour. We encourage you to attend the tour in its entirety or plan to join us on September 12th, where the tour will be focusing on the Madison watershed.

This is a great opportunity for our community to showcase its success in working cooperatively to move forward our locally-led conservation initiatives. We're excited to be a part of this effort, and even more excited to host tour attendees overnight in Ennis to show them what makes this place so special. More details will be coming soon, but feel free to contact ethan@madisoncd.org for more information.
