In this issue:

The Rural Evidence Review (RER) project, led by Dr. Jude Kornelsen at the Centre for Rural Health Research (CRHR) at the University of British Columbia, is conducting a survey to engage rural residents in helping to determine what residents' consider to be health care priorities - both personally and for their communities. No issue is too big or too small - all will be considered and the information will form the basis of the CRHR's report to policy-makers and health administrators.

The survey is voluntary, anonymous and brief (10 minutes or less to complete.) Completion of the survey indicates agreement to allow the research team to use the answers to help identify the topics they will research, as well as areas of health care needing improvement. To begin the survey, please CLICK HERE.

The study's findings will be shared to participating communities, academic publications, conference presentations, posted to the CRHR website, and presented as a policy brief to the Health Authorities and BC Ministry of Health. Anyone with questions about the survey, or wishing to participate in a follow-up telephone interview to further discuss their topic of interest, or to receive results of the study directly, may contact Research Coordinator Christine Carthew directly by email by clicking HERE.
