Biblia Global is 5 Years Old!

Biblia Global turns 5 years old in May! We are grateful to the Lord for sustaining us, providing for the ministry's needs and using us as He sees fit! We are grateful to all those who give, go, and pray for our work! Biblia Global was formed with the vision to get a physical Bible to every Christian who needs one. As hard as it is to believe, in 2019 millions of Christians (including pastors and other indigenous Christian workers) still have no way to get their own Bible, either because they live in a restricted country, live in remote a location, don't have the resources to purchase a Bible, or don't have access to a Bible if they had the resources.

In May 2014, we rolled up our metaphorical sleeves and began covertly partnering with underground indigenous Christians, pastors, missionaries, and other like minded partners to alleviate the great need for Bibles in some very hostile, closed places (though many of our volunteers have been involved in this work for many years prior to 2014) . At the outset, we have sought to leave our logo and ego at the door and work with others to equip the Church with the Word of God, firmly believing that there is no competition in God's Kingdom. The need for Bibles is too great to do otherwise! We believe God is the ultimate fund raiser and He is fully able to supply the needs of our organization and other organizations if we seek Him and His Kingdom first. We don't seek to compete with anyone else and rejoice when other organizations are blessed! Our desire has been to give a voice to our persecuted brothers and sister's, then offer opportunities to Christians in the West by giving, going, or praying.

Since May of 2014 Biblia Global has carried in or funded 53,919 Bibles for the following 11 languages in 5 restricted countries:

Thank YOU for being a part of this! As an encouragement of why we do what we do and the fruitfulness of your prayer and giving, the following is a testimony that we received and have previously shared from a Lahu woman named Mrs. Nancy, from the Panphat Lahu Baptist Church in Myanmar/Burma:

"After we received our Lahu Bible plus Hymnal, all benches in the church are full especially during the Sunday morning worship service. I have never experienced this before we received the Bible. Especially, the greatest change I have seen after receiving our Bible is my husband read the Bible and accepted Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. Also, my parents accepted Christ after they read the Bible. They are born and brought up from Christian family and regularly attended the Church; my dad was a church deacon for more than 35 years but not yet born again. BUT NOW, THEY GOT SAVED. Thank you!"

To God be the Glory! Please pray that Biblia Global would be blessed and serve as a useful and effective tool for the Lord for another 5, 10 or 50 years should God desire.

Changes to the King Sooper Neighborhood Rewards Program for Biblia Global

In past years, many of you have participated in the King Soopers Neighborhood Rewards Program and it has significantly helped support the ministry of Biblia Global. Last year we received over $1,200 just from people being intentional in how they shop! Beginning April 1, 2019, King Soopers/Kroger ended the Neighborhood Rewards Program and transitioned to a new program called Community Rewards to simplify community giving. No longer will you need to reload gift cards to support Biblia Global – all you now need to do is link your SooperCard or Kroger loyalty card to Biblia Global.

Troas Project Update

Above is the latest investment from those who give to Biblia Global and to the Troas project. We purchase several dozen of these bags every year. These bags will be used year round to carry Bibles into restricted countries by volunteers from around the globe. Each bag can carry between 25 - 200 Bibles per crossing! The Troas project funds the mission teams, transportation methods, and equipment necessary to get Bibles to believers in restricted countries.
