Please join us for the monthly Open House (1st Thursdays) on June 6, 6-8pm (1075 Harlemville Rd., Ghent, NY). Welcome the Farmscape Ecology Program interns Jackie (U. Mass. Lowell) and Molly (Tulane Univ.), and dung beetle researcher Rachel, who came all the way from Kansas to conduct a baseline study of the dung beetles in our County. Tour the native plant garden, which currently has Golden Ragwort, Wild Columbines, and Canada Anemone flowering, many of the perennials off to a good start, and a nice assortment of native wildflower seedlings in the nursery. As always, we'll be providing some basic food.
Stay tuned for an engaging summer program of ecology outings around the theme of wildflower meadows and pollinators.
We are looking forward to seeing you,
Claudia, Conrad, Anna, Dylan, Kenny, Jackie, Molly, and Rachel
