Phase I of Our Dredging Project is Completed.

Yesterday, May 30, the spring phase of our dredging project was completed. The west end of our underwater property was dug out, including the areas in front of the launching ramp, in the Travelift pit, and the mound of sand and gravel alongside the bulkhead that we call(ed) “Gudzik Island.” We’re thrilled with the amount of work that got done in just one day. We posted a few videos to our Facebook and Instagram pages in case you’re interested. The dredged material is being removed from our parking area over the next few days and the docks are being reinstalled today. Dry Land Marina service will reopen some time Saturday morning. DLM customers, please call Saturday to use your boat and we will advise as to when the service will reopen. We will resume launching winter storage boats on Monday June 3.

Thank you you for your patience and cooperation as we have worked to improve our waterfront facility for you.

The next project to be undertaken will be the repair of the bulkheads, which will begin some time soon. In the fall, after the hauling season closes, we anticipate completing Phase II of the dredging, when we'll dig out to the end of the steel bulkhead, which will improve the water depth both at the docks and along the approach to the travelift and ramp.

Look for updates in your email, on our website, and on our Instagram and Facebook accounts.

Have a safe and happy boating season!
