Sage 300 Direct Deposit Retired
Sage Payroll Services Direct Deposit will be retired later in the year. An alternative to process payroll electronically is Sage 300 EFT Direct Payroll. Since employees have been setup to use Direct Deposit already, very little changes are required to set up these employees to use EFT Direct Payroll. More details are available in the Resolution section of this article.
This does NOT impact the Sage 100 Direct Deposit.

What is STAC?
STAC stands for Sage Third-party Application Conference. This online conference scheduled for June 19, 2019, at 12 p.m. ET offers sessions with valuable business advice on key topics, presented by Sage and third-party experts.
What can I do at STAC?
- Get information and attend sessions about add on applications for your Sage solution to help you get the most from your investment.
- Visit the virtual exhibit hall where you can:
- Interact with presenters and solution providers.
- Get questions answered through 1 on 1 chat feature.
- Access additional information on solutions shown during sessions.
Do I need to register to attend the STAC?
Yes, you will need to complete the registration form to be able to attend STAC on June 19, 2019, at 12 p.m. ET.

Sage Confirms SageCRM Online EOL August 2019
Sage announced in November 2018 the discontinuation of their SageCRM.com hosted product. This announcement does NOT impact the Sage CRM on-premises product which is more widely used.
From Sage:
We’ve recently undertaken a full review of our CRM portfolio. As a result of this review, we have made the decision to retire the CRM.com Hosted product as of August 31, 2019. After this date, users will no longer be able to access Sage CRM.com.
If you are a SageCRM.com user you should read the FAQ which has been updated with information related to how long your data will be retained ( Spoiler: No data or backups available after August 31, 2019 ).
This is not a big issue for the majority of CRM users since it is only applicable if you were using the version which Sage hosted themselves.

You May Be Eligible for Free Sales Tax Software
According to Avalara, developer of sales tax compliance software which integrates to Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud, there are 24 states which offer free sales tax software.
