WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THESE TARIFFS?
Tariffs have been in the news for some time now, but the sudden imposition of a 5% tariff on all goods coming from one of our largest trading partners has everyone concerned. This means that everything that we buy from Mexico (fruits, vegetables and car parts) will be more expensive, although the Peso has declined some to offset that expense.

This Wall Street Journal article gets into the details of how these tariffs are affecting our financial markets.

It won't be much better in the air though, Bloomberg notes that a traditionally busy season paired with grounded Boeing 737 Max aircraft will cut thousands of flights from the schedule.

Haven't found a destination but still looking for a deal? SkyScanner has compiled a list of this years most underrated destinations. New Orleans, Austin and Myrtle Beach appear to be great destinations available for cheap this year.

Student loans have been a growing issue in our economy, and the show addressed them both as a broad economic issue, and how to handle it from a personal standpoint. The first caller wanted to find out if Congress was stealing money from the Social Security Trust Fund and the show only goes up from there!
