Hi <<First Name>>

We hope you had a good half term week in spite of the damp weather. It's supposed to be a good weekend. Whatever the weather, come in for a hot or cold drink, toastie or ice lolly, hot dog or snack - all possibilities are covered!

Just a reminder that Coffee Shop goes back to term time hours from Monday 3rd June, opening from 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Now that many of the groups have had a break, it's back to normal on Monday.  Some of the groups are mentioned below. There are opportunities for more participants to join them, some offer a free session to start with.

Volunteers needed

We do need more volunteers to help at Luncheon Club. We have a number of volunteers but sometimes they have other commitments, holidays, and emergencies can crop up and so on, and it would be good to increase the pool of people we can call on to help. For instance the cooks could do with a holiday!

There are 3 more Luncheon Club sessions this term then there's a summer break until September.

Please call Maureen if you are able to help set up at the sessions, prepare the lunches or serve refreshments, or help with transport, tel 01524 811316 or email:centremanager@haltoncentre.org.

If you would like to give a talk, or know of someone that would be willing to come and entertain the group, it can be anything from musical, factual, an unusual activity, an exciting trip you went on, or local history for example. So if you have an idea talk to Maureen.
