Meals Ministry
Contact Terri Verlinde
Would you like to touch someone's life in a very practical way? As people within our church body experience medical challenges or a death in the family, welcome new children, move to a new home, etc., the Meals Ministry team members show love and concern by taking them nourishing meals. We would be glad to have you join the team of those who make and deliver meals to others in the church!
Please contact Terri Verlinde at tcverlinde@gmail.com if you would like to be added as a member of the Meals Ministry team. Each time a need arises, an email message is sent to the people on the team, and those who are able to serve sign up to prepare and deliver meals. There is no limit to the number of people who can join the Meals Ministry team, and you only need to sign up to bring a meal when it is convenient for you. Thank you so much for considering becoming a part of this ministry!

Summer Sermon Series…
Is God Big Enough?
Sermons on the Psalms
This summer we will be looking at specific topics that are addressed in the Psalms. Our hope and prayer is that you will see that our God is big enough to address our very real issues where we all struggle. We decided to do this sermon series to encourage you in your walk with Jesus, and to give you an opportunity to invite friends and family, who don’t have a home church, to come and hear the good news that God is big enough!
Our sermons will be as follows:
June 9 Psalm 23 - Insecurity
June 16 Psalm 13 - Doubt
June 23 Psalm 10 - Injustice
June 30 Psalm 55 - Loneliness
July 7 Psalm 63 - Apathy
July 14 Psalm 91 - Fear of Suffering
July 21 Psalm 90 - Fear of Death
July 28 Psalm 32 - Guilt
Aug. 4 Psalm 101 - Temptation
Aug. 11 Rev. Richard Smith - TBD
Aug. 18 Psalm 37 - Envy
We look forward to seeing how this series will shape Oakwood.
