Wounds and Healing
In our fourth installment of featuring stories from our Ladies of Grace, we present to you a story of redemption and healing. Thanks for taking the time to read how their lives have changed for the good.

"Five years ago, I was homeless, shoeless, beaten, battered, and completely broken. No one believed I would ever get off the streets. I had been in the streets for five years now. I was so addicted to drugs, and alcohol that they were my master. I was their slave. I wanted to stop, but I had no choice left in the matter. I knew prayer is what I still had. I prayed for God to help me the last two years and then Grace Ministry came into my life. They were all bright eyed, full of light and completely beautiful. I was sitting on the curb of Main Street. Praying at the moment of their arrival. One of the ladies told me she knew what I was going through, and I was not happy to hear that at all. How could SHE know what I was going through? Just before I was about to challenge her statement, she showed me her mug shot, and the anger left me immediately. She did know. The seed she planted in my hard heart that day saved my life.

Today I am almost four years sober. I am a successful member of society. I have my daughter back in my life. God has also blessed me with an amazing husband. My life is so full of joy and now has a purpose. God directs my steps and my life. He heard my cry when I was in trouble. He sent Grace Ministry to assist Him in my rescue! I now go out on the streets doing the same that was done for me. We never know who needs just a little love and hope at the moment we give it, and Grace Ministries makes that possible".

Jeremiah 30:17 "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds", declares the Lord.

We are asking prayers for our sister in Christ and loved co-founder, Jan Miller. As you know, she has been dealing with medical issues. Her most recent doctor's report were not the results we had prayed for, but we believe that she will overcome. We love you, Jan. Please keep her in your prayers.
