GREAT EXPECTATIONS LUNCHEON

Great Expectations is a monthly gathering for those 55 yrs and over for the purpose of fellowship and education. Each month, we meet for a time of socializing, lunch and a short program. This month: Fr. Joe will tell us (the short version) of how he came to be a priest, and to be at St. Paul's, and who knows what else we may get into! Lunch ($6). RSVP HERE or to the Church Office (266-8195 or cbroome@stpaulschatt.org).

SUNDAY, JUNE 9 | PENTECOST CELEBRATION + PARISH PICNIC
Sunday, June 9, is the Feast of Pentecost, which occurs fifty days after Easter, marking the end of the Easter season. On Pentecost, we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit, who descended upon the apostles nearly two thousand years ago, equipping them to spread the Gospel to people of all races and languages, and who continues to work in and among us today. Our 10:30 service will feature readings in several languages, incense, and our Pentecost dove and streamers. Wear red!

You are invited to Key-Andrews Hall after the 10:30 Eucharist for a Pentecost Picnic. Chicken and drinks will be provided — with side dishes and desserts courtesy of your fellow parishioners. Sign up this Sunday in the Narthex to bring a dish -- or email patty@stpaulschatt.org.

ST. PAUL'S SWEET POTATO PROJECT
Join the St. Paul’s Green Faith effort and community and backyard gardeners across town to grow sweet potatoes for the Community Kitchen and NEEMA Refugee Resettlement Ministries. You can pick up slips to plant at church on June 9th, or email St.Paulssweetpotatoproject@gmail.com to get plants and instructions for growing.
