CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR CANDIDATES TO THE ICDE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
 

Institutional members of ICDE are invited to put forward names from their institution or names of other ICDE members for the election of two members to the next Executive Committee. Two institutional members of the ICDE Executive Committee shall be elected for a new period from 2020-2023.

Individual members of ICDE are invited to put forward names of individual ICDE members for the election of one member to the next Executive Committee. One individual member of the ICDE Executive Committee shall be elected for a new period from 2020-2023.

The ICDE Prize of Excellence was inaugurated in 1999 as the global prize of excellence in open and distance education. ICDE is pleased to announce that ICDE Prizes of Excellence will be awarded in November 2019, at the 28th ICDE World Conference in Dublin, Ireland, to deserving institutions and individuals for the highest possible excellence in the fields of open and distance education.

A FORUM SPECIFICALLY FOR PRESIDENTS, VICE-CHANCELLORS, PRINCIPLES, AND RECTORS FROM ICDE MEMBER INSTITUTIONS

#GPS19:ICDE MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO REGISTER 

The GPS is for the most senior administrator at ICDE member institutions or organisations. This includes Presidents, Vice-Chancellors, Principles, and Rectors of higher education providers. It also includes Presidents and CEOs of member organisations. Join us as engage in discussion, debate, and learning in globally relevant topics including, but not limited to:

• emergent paradigms in higher education, research, and innovation
• executive leadership
• emergent technologies & their role on place based and distributed learning models
• innovative & sustainable business models
• geo-political trends
• socio-economic trends

In this ICDE World Conference on Online Learning update we would like to remind you that the early bird registration date of Monday 1st July is now less than 2-weeks away. Excitement is really building as we count down to this date, especially as a steady stream of revised abstracts and full paper submissions are being submitted through the conference submission portal. Authors have until this date to revise and confirm their submissions so that we can start assigning papers to the various tracks over each day of the conference.

Ninth Pan-Commonwealth Forum (PCF9)

The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and The Open University (OU), United Kingdom will co-host COL’s ninth Pan-Commonwealth Forum (PCF9) at BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh, Scotland during 9 to 12 September 2019. The Prize is an international distinction to reward the efforts of a person who has had a distinguished career as a writer, éditer, lecturer, radio/television/web programme director or film producer, which has enabled him/her to help interpret science, research and technology for thé public.
