This Summer is busy and filled with concerts including my groups and others. I'll also be playing my first Central Park SummerStage Outdoor concert at Tompkins Square Park on Sunday August 25th with George Coleman Sr. and Brian Charette as the headline act for the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival.
I will also be performing in July with NEA JAZZ MASTER 2015 George Coleman Sr. celebrating his return to the Jazz Standard from July 24th - 28th, 2019. George Sr. will be backed by a stellar band including his bandmate of 50+ years, Harold Mabern, award-winning Guitarist, Peter Bernstein, Bassist, John Webber and yours truly, George Coleman Jr., on drums.
