MBA's Q2 virtual job fair is 6/24 - 6/28

The MBA is holding its first Virtual Job Fair of 2019 the week of June 24 through June 28.
 
This online initiative allows member stations in every corner of the state to participate in a quarterly recruitment effort. The week-long nature of the fair also allows us to target potential employees that can't attend a physical job fair in a small, 
three-hour window.

While your station works to fulfill its regulatory EEO requirements, the virtual job fair serves as further evidence of your station’s outreach effort to educate the public about the positions available at your station, as well as general information about the kinds of careers that are available in broadcasting.


During the week of the virtual job fair, your hiring agent will receive applications from visitors to the site via email. In addition, your representative may also be contacted directly by visitors requesting more information about a specific job or about the industry in general via an online comment form (keeping your email address confidential).

At the conclusion of a successful week, your station will have access to the applications online, statistics about how many people visited the site and a letter of participation that includes any active job postings for your EEO file.

We ask that all participating stations get their information to the MBA by Friday, June 21 at 10 AM.  

We need:

  • Hiring Agent name
  • Hiring Agent email
  • Station Mailing Address
  • ALL call letters participating
  • Station logos
  • $50 fee by check or credit card ($100 for non-members)
