Andrew Clough, Managing Associate at Womble Bond Dickinson will discuss from a legal point of view to protect your position when insolvency threatens construction projects in addition to Insolvency specialists Julian Gill and Asa Buchanan. We will also welcome with Andrew guest speakers Matthew Higgins and Steve Ross from RSM Accountants and Steve Armstrong from Bibby Financial Services who will present a case study with perspectives and advice for Clients, Main Contractors, Subcontractors, Funders with Insolvency Practitioners.
About Andrew:
Andrew specialises in construction and engineering dispute resolution. He regularly advises on professional negligence issues, on the major standard form contract suites including NEC3, JCT, FIDIC and IChemE, as well as PFI/PPP contracts and bespoke terms. He has a particular interest in insolvency related matters having acted in liquidations, bankruptcies and administrations.
Typically, his work involves litigation in the UK Technology and Construction Court, arbitration (international and domestic), expert determination and adjudication. He also has experience of the enforcement and challenge of adjudicators’ awards. He also advises on strategic dispute avoidance, as well as representing parties in mediation.
