FEATURED VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Refuge Foster Care Closet needs volunteers to sort through donations that are received for the closet. Volunteers will be responsible for sorting through each item to inspect it for stains, holes, etc. Volunteers will then take the acceptable items and organize them by size. They will also ensure that the closet is clean, organized, and free of any extra items that can be stored in an alternate location at the church. Girl Scouts Heart of the South needs co-leaders. Be one of the troop co-leaders that supports her every week—the one that watches her smile get bigger as she grows more confident. Mentor a Girl Scout Cookie Professional during cookie season so she can earn enough to reach the goals she and her troop set. Or work with other adults to provide the kind of behind-the-scenes support that makes it possible for her to make amazing new memories at Girl Scouts.

Gumtree Museum of Art is looking for volunteers. Every two months their artwork changes. In order to display a new show, they need volunteers to help them take down the current artwork and put up the new pieces. No particular art gallery skills are required.
