7th Grade Immunization Requirements:

As soon as your 6th grader turns 11 years old, they are ready to receive the following vaccines:

  •  Tdap vaccine protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis, or whooping cough.
  • Meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY) helps protect against bacterial meningitis.
  • Both of these vaccines are recommended at age 11 and are required before entering 7th grade. Protect your child early by getting them vaccinated as soon as they turn 11.

Students are invited to the 2019 Cobb Student Leadership Summer Institute

In this four-day institute, students will identify issues that are important them and explore ways to bring about positive, informed change in their community.

The theme of this year’s institute is I Am a Change Agent. Each day will focus on the different roles an agent of change plays, developing students’ skills as a leader, community member, researcher, and advocate.
