June was an incredible month for women entrepreneurs and proponents of gender equality in Canada.

Vancouver, Canada hosted over 6,000 delegates for the Women Deliver conference (read more below).
The Government of Canada announced the recipients of funding under its Women Entrepreneurship Strategy.
The Equality Fund, powered by The MATCH International Women’s Fund, was launched, with the aim of making grants, impact investments, and philanthropic investments to advance gender equality.

This month, I was also pleased to see the growing interest in responsible investment. I presented opportunities and challenges of socially responsible and impact investing to the Financial Planning Forum hosted by our friends at Spring Financial Planning as well as create workshop content on responsible investment for the Knowledge Bureau.
