Fearless Flowers

Fearless Flowers, the current project of the Wednesday group at Timeless Textiles, is literally blooming. The group has been busily enjoying beautiful flowers and welcomes new people to the group each week, renewing old and developing new friendships. What is so wonderful about this group is there are no attendance obligations, no experience expectations and lots of support, care and fun. 

The most important aspect of Fearless Flowers is that the group is committed to supporting and raising funds for ovarian cancer research and in particular the #PinkMeetsTeal campaign seeking government funding fairness for ovarian cancer.  Congratulations to Jill Emberson and her team on the very successful launch on 8 May and thank you for including Fearless Flowers in the launch. 

Donations supporting #PinkMeetsTeal  – ovarian cancer research at the Hunter Medical Research Institute are now being accepted through the Timeless Textiles website and in return the Wednesday group will present you with a gift from the Fearless Flowers garden. 

You can also support this important and necessary cause: 

• By coming along to the Wednesday Makers group, any week 10.30am – 12.30pm on a Wednesday,  of course and make a flower at Timeless Textiles Gallery. 
• OR  make some fearless flowers at home and send them in to us,
• OR  gather some friends and create  a “Fearless Flowers” group   wherever you live and make some flowers yourselves. You can use your flowers in your community to  raisefunds as a donation for our cause  or you can send the flowers to us. 
• OR make a DONATION now and we will send you a fearless flower
