We are highlighting Modelling Scenery the Pendon Way. This is exclusive to Friends and originally written by Malcolm Smith as a companion to Modelling Buildings - but never published. It's in the Bookshelf along with all previous Pendon Papers, Newsreels, recording of recent Friends Events and so on.

Gordon Gravett and Arun Quay on 7 and 8 September
The Friends Evening at which Gordon is talking about Arun Quay (his latest model) is now fully booked. But all is not lost - Gordon and Maggie will be demonstrating the model over the weekend and a video of the Friends Evening will be on Friends Place by October.
Vintage private owner coal wagon kits 
About 40 years ago, Pendon sold a range of custom private owner coal wagons kits. If any Friends still have these wagons could they please get in touch with Richard Seymour (richard.seymour@pendonmuseum.com). 
Junior modelling for Family Friends 
A number of Friends have asked if we might extend the activities we provide for junior modellers and in particular for those who are Family Friends. We'd very much like to do this, but to do so we need to first assemble a small volunteer team. If you live reasonably close to Pendon and you'd like to help with this, or to discuss what it might involve, please email martin.ray@pendonmuseum.com.
