Autocross Update
Hi all,
We are packing trailers and checking our gear for Autocrosses Number 5 & 6 this weekend at the Tanacross Airport in Tok. The schedule has been slightly modified so folks can come down from Fairbanks the day of the event:
Friday June 14th
Folks arrive in the afternoon, set up their camps
Saturday June 15th
Registration is from 9-10 am
Course walk/tech 10-10:45
Mandatory driver's meeting 10:45
Cars on course by 11
We'll play it by ear, but will try to get lots of runs in- maybe fun runs?
Sunday June 16th
Registration is from 8-9
Course walk/tech 9-9:45
Mandatory driver's meeting 9:45
Cars on course by 10
Wrap up around 2pm
Pack up
Clean up site
Head home

We don't charge cars until people check in the day of the event, but it greatly simplifies things, allows for more runs, and eases stress on our volunteers.

JULY Tok Autocross: We may have to cancel/change this event unless more people register- several folks, myself included, have other obligations and won't be able to make it, but it can still happen. Please sign up if you attend on going so that we may plan accordingly

Also, please check out our other events later in the summer- we will be returning to the Kenai Peninsula to spread the autocross love, having an event at Bartlett High in Anchorage, and a season ending weekend out at Alaska Raceway Park.

Road Rally Update
We didn't have anybody sign up for our last Road Rally, so it was cancelled. Terrance Pearson has tendered his resignation as Road Rally Steward. We thank him for his service, and for stepping up to try and foster a program that nobody else wanted to volunteer for. Terrance has graciously offered to help anybody that would like to step forward and take on the task of putting a rally together, and he still plans on holding a year ender road rally in December.
