Elizabeth Cline, author of Overdressed and now The Conscious Closet, will explain how to care for your clothing with a dramatically reduced environmental impact. You'll save time on laundry and your clothes will look far better for longer. This workshop covers how to remove and prevent pills from knits and sweaters, hand wash delicates and reshape clothing, freshen garments between wearings, evaluate when garments truly need laundering, and tips on removing stains and laundering without the use of chemically-intensive stain removers and detergent.

We are also super excited about the remaining Mend It Monday workshops open to the public from 4-7PM on June 17th (Visible/Invisible Mending) and June 24th (Re-Imagining Vintage). Bring a project you've been putting off, or just come to learn and try a new mending technique with expert guidance from Remade in Brooklyn and refashioner-in-residence Darnworthy! Special guests will join to display their projects related to upcycling and creative reuse. Guarantee you will leave feeling inspired and unstuck.
