The Kennedy Center Unwinds
Head to the KenCen for an open-to-the-public rooftop happy hour with music, contemporary artists and beer samplings. Maybe the rain will clear out and you and the 1.2K who said they’re going on FB can have a great time. (5-8pm)
Groupmuse, the organization that puts on classical music concerts in people’s living rooms, is hosting a Massivemuse at Milkboy Arthouse in College Park. Basically it’s a whole lotta people making new friends, relaxing and watching a string quartet. Recommend. (7:30pm)
Catch the opening for “A Bloom is A Blur,” a two-person exhibition showcasing new works from queer DC artists exploring the concept of blur and in-between spaces.. (7pm)
Patagonia made a fish doc and they’re screening it in store with free food and beer. “Artifishal” sheds light on the environmental costs of hatcheries and fish farms that put the wild fish population in danger. (7pm)
