Strawberry u-pick is open! Come by Saturday June 15, 10am-1:30pm and bring your own (big) containers!

UBC Ocean Wise Commitment
UBC has announced it will purchase only 100 per cent Ocean Wise recommended sustainable seafood beginning July 1, 2019. The change includes every food service location on both the UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan campuses, excluding franchises. The recent collaboration is an exciting step forward for a sustainable campus and ocean.

This week, we are featuring the Haltwhistle Cheese Company run by Corey, a UBC Farm practicum alumni, and Kristen. This wonderful duo started Haltwhistle Cheese Company where they make and sell delicious goats’ and cows’ milk cheeses. Corey and Kristen will be available every week at the Saturday UBC Farm Farmers’ Market.

Radishes are one of the first crops of the season. They're an incredibly versatile food you can slice into salad, roast up for dinner or pickle to add to your sandwiches and goddess bowls. Our radish varieties, Raxe and French Breakfast, pack surprising sweetness, making them a great snack!
Try a sample at this Saturday's Farmers' Market and then cook up our Roasted Radishes with Brown Butter, Lemon and Radish Tops at home!

Long Table Dinners: Waitlist Only

Picture a warm summer night with live music, long tables set beneath a canopy of poplar trees, and a spectacular dinner featuring the best local, seasonal ingredients our region has to offer. This is the third annual Long Table Dinner Series at the UBC Farm, back for just two dates this summer:
- Friday, July 19, 2019 | 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | $125 *SOLD OUT*
- Thursday, August 15, 2019 | 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | $175 | In partnership with Ocean Wise Exec. Chef Ned Bell *SOLD OUT*
First round tickets are sold out, but some additional tickets may be released later. Sign up for our waitlist here. Anyone on this list will also be given priority for 2020 Long Table Dinner tickets when they are released.
