A busy time for Technology Assessment Reviews (TARs) Groups. Here is some recent National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance informed by SHTAC reports:
Abemaciclib for treating with fulvestrant for treating advanced hormone-receptor positive, HER2-negative breast cancer after endocrine therapy, NICE's guidance is available here
Atezolizumab in combination for treating advanced non-squamous non-small-cell lung cancer, NICE's guidance is available here
Daratumumab with bortezomib and dexamethasone for previously treated multiple myeloma, NICE's guidance is available here

Cochrane Review Update
We have just started updating our highly cited systematic review of surgical procedures for weight loss in adults. This review was published in The Cochrane Library in 2014. Our update will focus on the effectiveness of weight loss surgery specifically in adults with diabetes. We will keep you updated on progress in future newsletters.
