Grade 5 Celebration

Yesterday Grade 5 celebrated the end of Elementary School and the transition to Middle School in the 2019-2020 academic year. Participants enjoyed a nice event in which Dr. Ann C. Kox, the Preschool and Elementary Principal, and Ms. Elena Corchs, the Vice Principal, congratulated these classes on behalf of the school community and reminded some of the important accomplishments students have achieved by completing Elementary School.

Every student was recognized with an individual certificate and a multimedia presentation displayed at the end of the ceremony showed a lovely collection of pictures when they were younger and highlights of their life at ASV. Mr. Josep Vicent Frechina, the High School Principal, welcomed the group to Middle School.

Remember that families of students in Grade 5 but also Kinder (which had the celebration one week ago) can purchase a celebration pack including:

  • Grade 5: DVD of the Celebration, Group Photo, the Conferment of Certificate Individual Photo.

Good luck to all our students in Grades 7 to 11 beginning their final exams on Friday, June 14.

Grades 9 through 11 will have a busy week from Monday to Friday; Grades 7 and 8 will finish on Monday, enjoying later their end of year trips to Calpe and the Pyrenees.

The school highly recommends all students remain at school to study and carefully prepare for their final exams. Historically those students who do stay at school for the study hall periods have been more successful on their exams. Nevertheless, if parents decide to authorize your child to leave the campus early and/or arrive late, please note that parents must  sign their child out personally or give them permission via this form.
