On the Road to HLPF 2019 

The HLPF 2019 will take place on 9-18 July at the UN Headquarters in New York under the theme "Empowering people and ensuring inclusiveness and equality". A delegation of Regions4 members will be present to showcase the efforts of regional governments for the SDGs implementation. Check out the events co-organised by Regions4.

A new brand for a new era 

Last 3 June we launched to the world our new brand, Regions4. A renewed identity that reinforces our values of collaboration and solidarity and our role as global connectors. We are proud to present our new brand and website, which includes a new feature, the "Knowledge Hub", an information centre showcasing regions innovative actions to achieve sustainable development.

Regions4 at the EU Conference on Biodiversity

The EU Committee and CoR hosted the EU Conference on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services: A common Agenda to 2020 and beyond last May. Regions4 presented the Regions4Biodiversity Learning Platform and its members' actions and lessons learned on EU Biodiversity Strategy Target 5: Combat Invasive Alien Species.

Call for inputs on mainstreaming gender in the NAP process

The UNFCCC Adaptation Committee, through the NAP Taskforce, has launched a call for inputs on mainstreaming gender as a cross-cutting issue in the National Adaptation Process. Inputs will feed on the AC upcoming deliverables and work plan activities. Deadline for submissions: 15 July.

RegionsAdapt Challenge: British Columbia

We are glad to continue with the RegionsAdapt Challenge, where regions can share their adaptation actions on a short video format. On this occasion, we present British Columbia's Introduction to Rainwater Management, focused on increasing the use of low-impact green infrastructure in urban watersheds.
